There is something about fall that I just love, halloween, pumpkin spice lattes, the crisp air, mountain drives and of course the fashion! One brand I absolutly adore is Madewell the quality is perfection and the understated elegance makes the pieces easily adaptable for day or night. I recently got the chance to do a little creative fall shoot with the new Silk Ruffle-Hem Dress Inkcheck
I LOVE this dress. It is so comfortable, it easily pairs with ankle boots and a fedora. For a night out some fun tights and vintage shoes take it up a notch. I’m such a jeans and t-shirt girl (even before chasing after a toddler) But there is something about a dress that makes people say ” oooh you look fancy where are you going?” and your toddler say “Mama pretty” (little girls are the best) On to the pics! Happy October! What’s everyone doing for halloween?

So here’s a little post I wrote for Shabby Apple, and since we’re catching up here is my trip to NYC. Enjoy!
Over Memorial Day Weekend I went to NYC with my husband to catch up with his aunt and uncle who were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. I love taking pictures so here are some of my favorite spots. Also I got to wear my lovely Shabby Apple dress!

This Shabby Apple dress from the Joyful collection is no longer avaliable but here you can get a similar vintage inspired dress
It’s film festival time in Utah! I really loved Naomi Watt’s look. It’s so cold at the moment as much as I love a good dress this is what you feel like wearing. I put together the photographs I took from my first film fetival a couple of years ago. Enjoy!
